Love a bargain? Make sure you visit the Bondi Markets which run every Sunday. And if you feel like some culture, make your way to the Bondi Pavilion which also hosts art exhibitions, musical performances and a variety of entertainment. And swinging Sydney is just 20 minutes away.

The Festival of the Winds, an annual international event, is Australia's most popular kite-flying affair. With workshops, dance and kite displays, rides and nibbles, the festival is a great day out with friends and family.

The six kilometre Bondi walk to Coogee beach is another spectacular way to spend an afternoon. Walk alongside the winding beaches and unfettered horizons and you'll see the famous Bondi Icebergs Club. Then, when you arrive at Coogee, enjoy a picnic lunch at the free barbecue facilities.
